Day 1

Hi, welcome to our blog!
Julia and I will be designing new wind ensemble dresses this year for our Google Project. The current wind ensemble dresses are not very form fitting and quite plain, so we decided to take matters into our own hands and come up with new dresses. We will most likely start by designing and drawing different styles of dresses, perhaps researching different styles online as Julia mentioned, and figuring out what type will be appropriate and most liked by the girls! Hopefully this will be a good change, considering that the dresses have been the same for quite a long time. Thanks for reading :)

Google Project Day 1

Hello!  This year my friend Olivia and I are so excited to be partners for another Google Project!  Last year we made oboe reeds together, and this year we have decided that our project will be focused on the dresses that our school's wind ensemble wear.  While our current dresses are...professional looking, many girls in the band have expressed some concern with the style and shape of the dresses.  Olivia and I will work together to design a new dress that all the girls in our band will be happy about wearing.  Although we haven't ironed out all the details for our project (will we learn to sew?  Will we look at dresses online?) we are so excited to have you come along on this journey with us.  Here's to a fantastic Google Project!
